Just wondering what heroes people like to get when they random, why and what they would do with the extra starting cash from randoming.

PL is one of my favorites and if i random him, it basically counts as if i had killed 4-5 creeps toward farming up my diffusal smile.gif.

I guess another popular one might be axe since it means you can get 2 stouts and tangos.

Since it may not be obvious. You random because you are bored of picking and are good with multiple heroes so you random for fun. Now when you are randoming for 'fun' who do you hope to random?

Seriously, you haven't ever joined a game, you know you are going to random but deep down inside, or once you random them, you are so happy that you got that nightstalker or whatever.

almost always random, unless im having bad day then i pick morphling and own. i random not just to get a hero but to get almost any, though there are about 10 heroes i always repick. eg pitlord

picking for me i see as cheap in pubs if u pick someone who owns the crap out of games, so if i random and get someone ownage its like fate wants me to be caining. otherwise i get someone who im not great at, then im just practising with that hero so its all good.

extra gold = ror + belt of giant strength on almost all agi/str

I random every game since i cbf pick. Same with the rest of my friends. That and if we all pick what we're good at it makes the pub bash even easier.

I like getting VS or TB. VS since it means i can really stock up on the wards/clarities/tangoes so i don't have to go back while i'm ganking. TB is just awesome since it makes it even easier to solo and farm that radience.

I've tried every single hero before, so I sometimes random when I'm at a loss of which hero to use.

There's no hero I wish to get when I random, if I had one I'd simply pick it; I'd rather farm around 4 creeps lesser and enjoy my entire game. However, there are heroes which I wish I would not get, and these are the extremely boring heroes, like Centaur, Skel King, and the like. Well, at least they don't appeal much to me.

i random when im bored / at a loss as to what i will choose. i hope i get interesting heroes which need more concentration (eg. invoker, raigor, chen, tinker), and not boring ones that you only need 1 button to click, like skel / old naix. im also a fan of ints, because they are very fragile--which make them more exciting to play. early game ints specifically, and i tend to make them still good late game and can tank a little (eg. leshrac, zeus).

What makes me laugh/feel sorry is that when I see people who ego and type "-random" in all chat and then repick. I mean come on. If you type random you should be ready to play _any_ hero. I play alot random heroes and I'm ready to play _almost_ all of them but for some strange twist of fate, too many times I get the few mockeries of DotA that some ppl actually call "heroes" (Pit Lord, Techies, KotL) In these cases I either bang my head against the wall or make an exciting innovative item build which almost always fails.

I almost never random because nowdays I can't find -ap server,I mean everyone play -sd.
but when i random i hope for some agility hero,I have most fun when I play with agi heroes(clinkz,rikimaru,FV,meepo)yap biggrin.gif

ou don't loose any gold if you repick a randomed hero... (-ar doesn't count).

And if you get a hero you don't want to play (venge/bristle and a few other heroes in my case) I'll just repick and choose a hero hero randomly from a tavern.
I almost always hope to get alchemist :X

i random if im feeling lucky... or right after i dominated a game , which rarely happens. lol
and if i random, i always wish for my faves...

and also noticed one thing,
almost all of the randomers repick if they get meepo... lol
